Climbing

Rasa began climbing in 1998. She's not a technical climber but has gotten into high altitude mountaineering. To ready for her first climb, she began on a long training regiment which she continues today.

Since she started this venture, there has been plenty of activity. She has partnered up with long time friend Tom Demerly, owner of Bikesport and, together, they've been on trips to James Peak, Mount Elbert, Mount Rainier, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Cerro Aconcagua. Additionally, Bob Reedy has accompanied her on trips to Mount Elbert and Mount Pacific. Bob is one of our very oldest friends, is currently an instructor with the Colorado Mountain Club, and took part in the US Expedition to Broad Peak in 1999.

The links below are some of the highlights from Rasa's climbing adventures thus far.
