2009 Chapman Stick Workshop
Courses
Detailed daily course schedules and descriptions are posted on the official workshop page. These schedules include both Stick and guitar courses. Students can put their own itinerary together focusing on the areas they are most interested in. Additionally, Stick players who also play guitar can bring both instruments and put together an itinerary that includes instruction in both.
Teacher Performances
Concerts will take place each evening in Interlochen's Corson Auditorium and student tuition also pays for admittance to every concert. These concerts are fully promoted as part of the Interlochen Summer Concert series and draw very large audiences. There are generally enough teachers to schedule three days worth of concerts with no repeats. Both Emmett and Greg will perform on Thursday evening for the "Stick 'N Jazz" night. Student Performances
Student performances tend to be a highlight of any Stick seminar. You can rest assured that we will schedule student performance times during the workshop. The details and locations of those performances are yet to be determined.
